I always want to use precisely the write/right words, particularly here. I can’t find them for this piece. It moved me in many directions and delved deep. I loved it, while true, sounds/seems completely inadequate. Nonetheless (I thoroughly enjoy tossing that one in at every opportunity, overly fond of it’s cousin, Nevertheless, as well.) I’m going to leave it at that for now and move on to the question portion now. Is there a name for the form you used here? I’m not implying there should be, just curious. It adds even more power to the message and almost seems like a poem within a poem. Your eloquence and generosity are greatly appreciated.
This is one of those bittersweet days and I hope you have enough sweet memories to keep the bitter level low. Tom sent me a condolence card after my mom died that included this phrase
Hearts ache, words fail but love sustains us.
I love you Jay Logan Lance

Thanks, Cathy! The form arrived as I wrote. I’ve been seeing other artists play with structure and felt inspired. I think the poem is unfinished—so many of these poems are. They seem to finish as I run out of time to write. Nevertheless, thanks for your insight! 😅
